Where to Stay for The Kee to Bala 2026
The Kee to Bala has been Muskoka’s live-music landmark for generations — a dance hall turned concert venue that draws crowds up Highway 169 all summer. If you’ve got tickets to a 2026 show, the only real question is where you’re sleeping afterward. Our pitch: stay close, skip the long drive home, and wake up somewhere quiet.
A short drive from the music, a world away when you’re done. The Dudley Inn sits just outside Bala — about 3 km from The Kee, a few minutes by car. Close enough to roll in after the encore; far enough that you’re sleeping in the trees, not above the noise. We’re a small, fully renovated boutique motel: eight rooms across seven acres, first built in 1965 and brought back to life head-to-toe in 2022. See our rooms →
Rooms for however you’re travelling. Coming as a pair? The King Rooms and the Porch King Suite are made for two — the Porch King adds a kitchenette and extra privacy at the back of the property. With friends? The Queen Rooms sleep four, and the two-bedroom Country Farmhouse fits a whole crew with a full kitchen. Every room has a Kingsdown mattress, heated bathroom floors, in-room coffee, and fast Wi-Fi. Check-in is contactless — your door code arrives by text, so a late night at the show doesn’t mean a front desk waiting up.
Make a weekend of it. The Kee is the headline, but Bala’s worth a daytime wander too. Bala Falls is a few minutes away, good food is within ten, and the Cranberry Marsh and Port Carling are close by. Explore Bala →
Book early for show weekends. Show nights are our busiest, and with eight rooms we fill fast. If you’ve got a 2026 date circled, lock your room now — and check our guide before you arrive so you know exactly how check-in works.
We’ll see you after the show.
